Bill Payment Options

Butler County REC offers convenient bill-payment plans 

• Pay My Bill Online E-Billing.  Co-op members view and pay their electric bills online with this free and secure service. Go to Pay My Bill to sign up now.
• Automatic Bank Draft Payments. With this service, a member needs only a checking or savings account, and we do the rest. Members receive their bills each month, and the payments are automatically withdrawn from bank accounts on the 28th of every month.
• Budget Billing. With this service members know exactly what their electric bills will be each month. When members sign up for our budget billing, we base their bills on the past 12 months’ usage. Budget-billing accounts are reviewed in April and October. Participants are notified at those times if adjustments are needed.
• Credit or Debit Card Payments. Members may sign up for this as a monthly service or contact us whenever they want to pay their bills using a MasterCard or Visa credit or debit cards. We accept payments weekdays from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. by phone or at our office.
• Night Depository Payments. Place payments in Butler County REC's night depository box located at the office in Allison. To avoid confusion, include the bottom portion of the bill with the payment and use the return envelope provided.
• Pay by Mail. When members pay their bills by mail, payments should be mailed to our payment center in Humboldt. Address is Butler County REC, P.O. Box 645, Humboldt, IA 50548-0645. Members should return the bottom portion of the bill with their payment and use the return envelope provided. Allow four to five working days for delivery.
• Pay in Person. Payments are accepted at our office located at 521 N. Main, Allison, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.
